STAR (Students’ Temporary Assistance and Resources) is a network of programs providing students with everything they need to thrive and flourish during their time at Georgia Tech. We believe every Georgia Tech student can succeed, but every student’s situation is unique. Sometimes an unfortunate circumstance can derail a student’s academic progress, and temporary assistance is needed to get back on track. Also, access to resources varies among students; it is imperative that all students have access to the resources they need. Through the STAR Network, students receive the temporary assistance and resources they need to succeed at Georgia Tech.
Campus Closet lends appropriate clothing to those who are prospective hires without proper business attire.
Klemis Kitchen serves as a food pantry for Georgia Tech students with dietary needs and financial concerns that limit their access to proper nourishment.
Georgia Tech offers temporary housing to students who become unexpectedly displaced or put under financial stress.
The Dean Griffin Hip Pocket Fund offers interest-free emergency loans to students for academic or personal matters.
